Peer Review Process

QOLAMUNAA follows a single-blind peer review policy. Manuscripts are anonymized and sent to qualified reviewers in the respective field.

  • Step 1: Manuscripts are acknowledged within 24 hours.

  • Step 2: Review is conducted by multiple reviewers within 2 weeks.

  • Step 3: Authors receive review reports and decisions.

  • Step 4: If revisions are required, authors must resubmit within 7 days. Revised manuscripts are re-evaluated by the same reviewers. If rejected again, the manuscript will not proceed.

  • Step 5: Accepted manuscripts are formatted and sent for proofreading.

  • Step 6: Manuscripts are published online first, then in print within 1–2 weeks. Authors are notified and may request corrections within one week of online publication.

  • Step 7: Authors may receive a printed copy upon providing correct mailing information.

Additional notes:

  • Reviewers are selected based on expertise and independence.

  • Authors may appeal decisions through the editor within the journal’s guidelines.

  • Estimated total process: 4–8 weeks from submission to online publication (depending on revisions).
